What this treatment can help with.

Want more cheek support, a stronger profile or softer folds? Vanessa studies how the whole face fits together before deciding whether filler, a biostimulator or another treatment makes sense.

Common concerns

  • Cheek or midface support
  • Chin projection and profile balance
  • Jawline definition
  • Selected smile or marionette folds
  • Temple or age-related volume change

Why patients choose it

  • Immediate, adjustable structural support
  • Product and placement selected by area
  • A full-face rather than single-line assessment
  • A conservative plan that can be staged

Vanessa’s approach

Treat the structure, not just the line.

A crease is not always a filler problem. Vanessa looks at bone support, fat distribution, skin quality, movement and the relationship between the cheeks, chin, jawline, lips and profile before recommending where product may help.

The aim is a face that reads as balanced, not a list of filled areas. That may mean treating one structural point, staging a plan over time or deciding that filler is not the best tool for the concern.

Treatment planning

Where this treatment may help.

The right area depends on the cause of the concern, your anatomy and whether this treatment is the safest useful tool.

01

Cheeks and midface

Strategic support may restore contour or improve the transition between the lower eyelid and cheek. Product choice and placement depend on whether the need is structure, softness or both.

02

Chin and profile

Chin filler can improve projection, length or symmetry in selected patients. Vanessa evaluates the nose, lips, lower face and dental support so the profile remains coherent.

03

Jawline

Filler may create definition or improve transitions along the jaw. Skin laxity, jowling, muscle shape and chin support determine whether filler will sharpen the area or add unwanted weight.

04

Smile and marionette lines

These folds are influenced by movement and deeper facial changes. Directly filling the line is not always the most natural plan; support elsewhere may be more effective.

05

Temples

Temple treatment requires advanced anatomical awareness because important vessels lie in the area. Candidacy and product choice are evaluated carefully.

06

Under-eyes

Hollows, pigment, visible vessels, fluid and skin laxity can all look like dark circles. Filler is useful only for selected anatomy and may not be the safest or most effective answer.

01

What dermal filler can change

Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers are injectable gels used to create support, restore selected age-related volume, soften folds or refine facial contour. The same category includes products with different firmness, flexibility and approved treatment areas, so choosing a filler is part of the treatment plan rather than a brand preference.

Common goals include cheek support, chin projection, jawline definition, temple restoration and softening selected folds. Lip filler is planned separately because lip movement, swelling, shape and tissue behavior require their own assessment.

02

Facial balancing starts with relationships

A feature can look out of balance because of what sits above, below or beside it. Vanessa evaluates the face from the front, profile and three-quarter views, then watches expression and considers the relationship between the cheeks, nose, lips, chin and jawline.

This prevents a common mistake: repeatedly adding product to the visible line without addressing the support around it. Sometimes one structural change creates enough balance. Sometimes a staged plan is more appropriate. Sometimes filler would add weight and another option is better.

03

Safety is part of the aesthetic plan

Swelling, bruising, redness, tenderness and temporary firmness are common after filler. Less common complications can appear later, including inflammation, infection or nodules. The rare but most serious risk is unintentional injection into a blood vessel, which can cause tissue injury, vision loss or stroke.

Dermalier reviews product labeling, health history, recent dental work, prior filler and emergency symptoms before treatment. Severe or increasing pain, unusual blanching or color change, vision symptoms, weakness, speech difficulty or another concerning reaction requires immediate medical attention.

Choose the right tool

Which injectable matches the problem?

Similar-sounding treatments can solve different problems. This is how Vanessa separates them during consultation.

OptionBest suited toWhat to know
Hyaluronic acid filler

Immediate, adjustable support for selected volume, contour and proportion concerns.

Results and duration vary by product and area. HA filler can often be reduced with hyaluronidase, but dissolving is a medical treatment with its own risks.

Sculptra or Radiesse

Broader collagen support and gradual improvement when a biostimulator better fits the tissue and timeline.

Biostimulators are not managed like HA filler and are not appropriate for every area. Their results develop differently.

Botox or Dysport

Lines and shape changes caused primarily by repeated muscle movement.

Neuromodulators do not replace lost volume. Filler does not reliably solve every movement-created crease.

What to expect

Here is how it works.

01

Assess

Vanessa studies your face at rest and in motion, then identifies what is creating the concern.

02

Design

You agree on the treatment area, product, amount, limits, risks and how visible you want the change to be.

03

Reassess

The settled result is evaluated before additional product or another stage is considered.

The real timeline

What happens after the appointment.

Early swelling or redness is not the result. Here is when the treatment becomes meaningful to evaluate.

  1. Treatment day

    Immediate change with early swelling

The area may look fuller right away, but product, swelling and local anesthetic can all influence the first-day appearance.

  2. Days 1–3

    Swelling and bruising may peak

Tenderness, firmness or unevenness can be more visible before the tissue begins to settle.

  3. Around 2 weeks

    A more useful assessment

Vanessa evaluates the settled contour and whether the original plan needs time, refinement or no additional treatment.

  4. Months later

    Maintenance is area-specific

Product, placement, movement and metabolism affect longevity. Maintenance should respond to the face, not a universal calendar.

Appointment guidance

How to prepare and care for your result.

These general guidelines support a better consultation. Your individual instructions may differ.

Preparing for consultation

  • Share allergies, medications, supplements, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, autoimmune or bleeding conditions, previous filler, dental work and prior aesthetic procedures.
  • Plan recovery time before major events because the amount of swelling or bruising cannot be predicted precisely.
  • Do not stop prescribed medication unless the prescribing clinician directs you to do so.

Aftercare and follow-up

  • Follow the area- and product-specific instructions given at your appointment. Do not massage or press treated areas unless Vanessa directs you.
  • Allow swelling to settle before judging symmetry or deciding whether more product is needed.
  • Seek urgent care for severe pain, unusual skin color, vision changes, neurologic symptoms or another rapidly worsening reaction.

Candidacy

Who may be a good fit?

A consultation confirms candidacy. These points help you understand the kind of patient the treatment may suit.

It may fit if

  • You have a specific contour, proportion or age-related volume concern.
  • You prefer a non-surgical option and understand its limitations.
  • You are open to a staged plan rather than correcting every area at once.
  • You understand that filler has common side effects and rare but serious vascular risks.

Treatment may need to wait

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Active infection, dental infection or inflammation near the treatment area
  • A recent procedure or planned dental work that may affect timing
  • A medical history or allergy that makes the proposed product inappropriate

Planning your investment

What determines dermal filler cost in Orlando?

Cost depends on the area, product, amount and whether the goal is a small refinement or a staged full-face plan. Syringe count alone does not describe the quality or complexity of a treatment.

Your consultation includes a written plan and price before treatment. Vanessa may recommend starting with less, allowing it to settle and reassessing rather than committing to a large same-day correction.

Dermal Fillers FAQs

Questions, answered.

These are general answers. Vanessa will make them specific to you during your consultation.

How long do dermal fillers last?

Longevity varies by product, treatment area, placement, movement and individual metabolism. Hyaluronic acid filler often lasts about six to eighteen months, but no single duration applies to every face or area.

What is facial balancing?

Facial balancing evaluates how several features relate rather than treating one line in isolation. Filler, neuromodulators, biostimulators or no treatment may be recommended depending on the cause of the imbalance.

How many syringes will I need?

That cannot be determined responsibly from a trend or generic package. Vanessa recommends the amount after evaluating your anatomy, tissue, treatment areas and desired visibility of change.

Can dermal filler be dissolved?

Appropriate hyaluronic acid filler can often be reduced with hyaluronidase. Dissolving is still a medical treatment, may affect naturally occurring hyaluronic acid temporarily and does not manage every type of filler.

What is the difference between filler and Sculptra?

Hyaluronic acid filler provides immediate, precise volume or contour. Sculptra is a poly-L-lactic acid biostimulator used in a series for gradual collagen support. They are not interchangeable in every area.

What are the serious warning signs after filler?

Severe or increasing pain, white or unusually discolored skin, vision changes, severe headache, weakness, speech difficulty or another concerning change requires immediate medical attention.
