My first lip treatment
Start with an amount that feels comfortable, let it settle and decide later if you want more.
Lake Nona · Orlando · Natural lip filler
Natural-looking lip filler for Lake Nona and Orlando patients, performed by Vanessa Peixoto, APRN, who trained directly with Dr. Rebecka Gardell in Stockholm, Sweden.

Start with your goal
Lip filler can restore softness, define the Cupid’s bow, improve visible asymmetry or add projection. The right plan depends on what you want to see.
Vanessa looks at your lips from the front and side, at rest and in motion. She also considers tissue, prior filler and facial proportions before recommending product and placement.
The Swedish Lip approach
Vanessa trained directly with Dr. Rebecka Gardell in Stockholm, where she learned a Swedish approach to lip augmentation. The method studies your natural lip shape, then uses selective placement to improve contour and projection.
Vanessa uses that training when it suits the patient in front of her. Your tissue, proportions, previous treatment and goals still guide the final plan.
Find the places where subtle support can make a difference.
Plan how the lips sit from the side as well as the front.
Respect your movement, proportions and natural features.
Technique context: Dr. Gardell’s IMCAS educational abstract and official advanced lip training.

Your lip consultation
Your answer helps Vanessa understand whether you want restoration, definition, correction or visible enhancement.
Start with an amount that feels comfortable, let it settle and decide later if you want more.
Add shape or projection where it makes a difference without making fullness the only goal.
Let Vanessa assess the product and tissue before adding more. Waiting or dissolving may be part of the conversation.
Restore softness or support while keeping the proportions and movement that feel like you.
Your safety matters
Lip filler is a medical procedure. Vanessa reviews allergies, medications, prior filler, cold sore history, recent dental work, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, and other relevant health information before treatment.
Temporary swelling, tenderness, firmness, asymmetry, and bruising can occur. More serious complications are uncommon but require prompt recognition. You will receive individualized aftercare and clear instructions about when to contact the clinic.
Lip filler questions

The Swedish Lip approach is shape-led rather than volume-led. It uses a detailed analysis of the lip and surrounding anatomy to place hyaluronic acid selectively, with the goal of improving contour, projection, and balance without automatically creating a heavily outlined or overfilled look. Vanessa trained directly with the technique’s creator, Dr. Rebecka Gardell, in Stockholm, Sweden.
That is the intention, but every result depends on starting anatomy, tissue quality, prior filler, product selection, and healing. Vanessa plans from the front, profile, and in motion, then recommends only the amount and placement your lips can support. A staged plan may be more appropriate than trying to create a large change in one visit.
There is no universal amount. Some patients want subtle hydration or definition; others need support across several areas or correction of previous filler. Vanessa recommends product and amount only after assessing your lips, profile, movement, and goals.
Cost depends on the product and individualized treatment plan. Current appointment options are available through Dermalier’s booking window, and the full plan is confirmed before treatment. A consultation is the best way to receive an accurate recommendation rather than purchasing by syringe alone.
Hyaluronic acid lip filler often lasts about six to twelve months, but duration varies with product, placement, metabolism, movement, and treatment history. Maintenance should be based on how the result changes over time rather than an automatic schedule.
Swelling is common and can be most noticeable during the first 24 to 48 hours. Bruising, tenderness, firmness, and temporary unevenness may occur. The lips generally look and feel more settled over one to two weeks, which is why the immediate post-treatment appearance is not the final result.
Sometimes. Vanessa first assesses what product may be present, where it sits, and whether waiting, strategic support, or dissolving appropriate hyaluronic acid filler is the safest path. Adding more filler is not always the best correction.
Hyaluronic acid filler can often be reduced or dissolved with hyaluronidase when clinically appropriate, but dissolving is a medical treatment with its own considerations. Emergency assessment is required for severe or increasing pain, unusual color change, vision symptoms, or another concerning reaction.
A history of cold sores should be discussed before treatment because lip injections can trigger a recurrence. Vanessa will review timing and whether a preventive medication plan should be discussed with an appropriate prescriber. Treatment should not proceed over an active infection.
Treatment may need to be deferred for pregnancy or breastfeeding, active infection, certain allergies or medical conditions, recent dental work, or other individual risk factors. A medical history review and in-person assessment determine candidacy.
